Two years ago I was a volunteer at the organization “La Via” in Chisinau, Moldova. It is a place created for children from poor families, created in 2010.

About 60 children who attend “La VIA” have access to art and music classes, games, socializing activities, trips, creativity development etc. Children who have difficulties and special needs have access to tutors that will help them learn reading and writing. In short, that’s a place where kids can develop their talents and become better adults in the future.

What shocked me when I joined as a volunteer, was that most of them were americans. They left US, learned Romanian and came to the poorest country of the Europe to serve the poorest people of this society. Come on, just imagine what kind of people they are.

A week ago, Rachel, a friend of mine that works there told me that they are moving into a new place. The authorities turned off the water and heat by 16th of December of the building that they have been in partnership with. I don’t know what exactly happened, but they were forced to.

The new place that they have found, is an unfinished space, but designed in a way that will fit their current needs. They need $65’000 to purchase the property and another $25’000 to finish the interior and purchase necessary appliances.

I encourage you to make just a $10 donation for this cause. In fact, you can think about it as an investment. You can invest in a child, that will become a better adult. A child that will not end up in jail or in a drug dispensary, but that will have a good life and be a good person. Hopefully, through this children “the chain reaction of kindness” will start, and they will be able to impact positively many other people during their own life, because of your contribution.

Thank you.

You can donate on the Pure Charity website.
