#ResponsiveOrg — first meetup in Copenhagen.
We met! We actually did!
Based on a meeting in Copenhagen, one call to Australia, a number of tweets, Linkedin and Yammer posts, the word was spread and the first #ResponsiveOrg meetup in Copenhagen became reality Thursday 27. November 2014 — read about the preparation here ,
Eager to meet the people who signed up for #ResponsiveCoffee in Copenhagen on Meetup.com I got to the cafe about 30 minutes early…
tables where placed in a corner, and the coffee was just about to brew — we where ready to meet.
What did we share?
All interested and curious we gathered and the talking started by one to one introductions as people showed up, then the non existing agenda developed in this way:
- Personal presentation of each us alá — Who are you, why are you here, what do you expect?
- A lot of topics came up; Leadership, organisational maturity, HR involvement, relations to agile development, Yammer, leadership practitioner groups and personal experiences that put a need for a common language into the spotlight.
- What can the ResponsiveOrg forum bring? suggestions for sharing and growing the community online (we agreed to stay with Meetup.com for a start) not really sure it is the “thing” for sharing.
- Will it be worth meeting again? — luckily everybody agreed, format and schedule was discusssed and I took home a task to publish a new meetup.

The conversation touched diversity and all agreed it is needed for future meetups. Also discussing the need for a meetup in english, which is obviously is an option if non Danish-speaking wants to join — please let us know at meetup.com or as a comment here.
What will it bring?
I am not really sure, but I know that I have found likeminded people whom I want to share my experiences with, and I am sure they will share interesting angles on topics that relates to #futureofwork, #ResponsiveOrg, #worklikeanetwork — add the # you like, or tell the story as Matt Partovi
