Announcement: Aggressive Becomes The Restakes Platform
When you launch a web3 project there are so many different factors to success, and they all matter at different stages of that projects lifetime.
We’re a small team that has worked on several million dollar utilities, used by thousands of people across 3 blockchains — we’ve learnt that it’s sometimes nessecary to, well to be ridiculous.
Especially at the start.
With that ethos in mind — and with a risk-based staking app concept barely working on testnet — we launched. Aggressive Masturbation. No thats not what I.. that’s the name of the project. Yes. And yes.
Our community and support coordinator says “only you would build a groundbreaking defi protocol with a dick as the logo”.
He was right, this is a fresh and new idea, we’re here to change the way people see staking, to change the way projects offer staking and passive rewards to their communities.
So on that note, and I’m sure you gathered from the title, we’re going to rebrand our modest wee staking pools into Ethereum’s #1 powerhouse staking platform. Restakes.
To start with we’ll focus on improving the ecosystem and rolling out some new features as per our current development roadmap, but we’re quickly going to pivot into some new directions, and explore the space a little deeper with some ideas that people haven’t fully realized yet.
Staking As A Service Provider
We’re looking to bring one-click staking pool provisioning to projects, completely free and even with the option to configure a custom domain name.
Community Rewards Platform
We envision Restakes as a sustainable community reward platform, a household name for staking pools and a first-stop for projects to find new investors through our proprietary reward systems, and even instant-setup referral/affiliate rewards.
Data-Driven Platform
Owed to their cataclysmically high pricing tiers, web3 APIs are often under utilised and passed over for less accurate solutions. By pairing scraped data from select partner coins with cutting edge UI / UX, we’re able to we’re able to provide detailed and deep statistics, something between Bubblemaps and Nansen.
On-Chain API Aggregator
This is wildly experimental, and we’re not entirely sure how it would work or if it’s even possible with the current limitations of blockchain throughput. We’re developing a new kind of NFT smart contract, built on the 1151 standard.
Our aim is to programatically pull the results of APIs into 1151 metadata and mint it to an existing collection. Why? Having API data on-chain would give us a completely decentralised source of truth for many different applications.
Sports results for example — aggregating a list of sports results would enable completely on-chain sports betting.
So with all this in mind, welcome to the new and more grown up aggressive, welcome to Restakes.
