Kylie Jenner sold over $1.5m in Lip Kits on her 19th Birthday

#KylieCosmetics shows no signs of slowing down.

We recently added a feature to Restocks displaying the stock of a given item during a release or restock event. Generally when an item restock we see stock of anywhere from 1 to 30 of an individual item. Today was different.

Today was the first Kylie Cosmetics restock this feature was live for, and on launch, The site was receiving dozens of orders a second at 3:00pm. We watched the stock plummet down to 0 in a matter of minutes.

Every item in her Birthday collection restocked with between 1000 (the $195 bundle) and 8000 units ($16-$38 individual items), as of 4:00pm PST (1 hour after the restock) only 3 items from the collection are in stock.

In total Kylie sold around $1,500,000 in product in a little under 30 minutes.

Not a bad way to celebrate turning nineteen.
