Using virtual reality in your marketing is a growing trend that’s only getting bigger as VR gains traction in mainstream entertainment. Get some inspiration for how VR can elevate your cross-platform marketing game by checking out these virtual reality experiences created for brands in three different industries.

#1 Beefeater gin & Future Lighthouse

For the marketing campaign #BeefeaterXO, Beefeater gin partnered with Future Lighthouse to create a VR experience entering a fantastical version of four different cities that inspired Michelin starred chef Dabiz Muñoz to create avant garde cocktails (with gin, of course!)

These short clips show just how creative you can get with telling a story in VR, where entirely new worlds are possible.

#2 TOMS & Here Be Dragons

To give an even more vivid impression of the work that TOMS does to help children in need of shoes, they partnered with Here Be Dragons to create a VR experience called the TOMS Giving Trip. While you listen to TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie explain their vision, you can see the work they’re doing in Peru firsthand.

This is a great way to show *and* tell the story of your brand, your values, and get your message out in a way that has more emotional power by putting the viewer right where the action happens.

#3 Mercedes Benz & Experius VR

Instead of simply showing what being inside one of their cars is like, the experience that Mercedes Benz created with Experius VR also shows where that car can take you. You can practically smell the snow on the mountain, and it feels like you’re really there. While your typical car commercial will often show luxury vehicles in beautiful outdoor settings, a 360º experience makes it feel like you’re already part of the adventure.

This kind of immersive storytelling can help showcase your product from every angle, inside and out, and illustrate real situations where it can benefit your customers.

Is it your first time considering VR for your marketing?
