Equity Centred Research and Action
Happy 2022!
For those of us working in the social impact space, the new year is an opportunity to reflect and take action on what we would like to change in our organisations, institutions and networks. At Equity-Based Consulting, we are excited about several courses launching in 2022 to stretch the imagination further, and support practitioners, students and inquisitive minds redesign and reorient our work towards more equitable and socially just ways of working.
Our reflective question for our readers this month is to consider who is at your table? Who are you in the community with? What are the things that you want to do differently? What are the opportunities or cracks to push for change?

Juhi Sonrexa paper provides an argument that stresses the need for a seismic shift in aid from the still dominant underpinnings of modernism mindsets and patriarchal thought-forms towards a relational or participative consciousness that reflects feminist values and the deeply interconnected world that we live within. A great and insightful read!
