Hello Medium, this time we go straight to editorial talk. Remember when old computer magazines had pretty game advertisements? How great illustrators made squares of 8 colors exciting?
Consider this your digital double-page spread. Not like the pop-ups pages throw in your face today. When you opened a paper magazine, ads couldn’t just jump from the opposite page and cover the article you wanted to read for 10 seconds.
I don’t have any plans to use this for anything but my own announcements (although the idea to feature gorgeous art from selected games sounds better the more I think about it).
And with that, here is my no-text announcement of Pixel Art Academy. I’m keeping it mysterious for now, but it will be something nice for pixel artists and people who like pixel art.
