We’re happy to announce that MIT Sloan CIO Symposium has selected ValiMail as one of ten finalists for its 2017 Innovation Showcase.

MIT selected our email authentication platform based on the strategic value and innovation it offers enterprises. We couldn’t be happier about this recognition, and we are looking forward to showcasing our platform at the Symposium on May 24, at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Can’t make it to Massachusetts? ValiMail CEO Alexander García-Tobar will also be speaking on May 2 at the annual CSO50 Conference and Awards in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This recognition from MIT underscores what we’ve been saying since we started this company: The lack of email authentication makes it way too easy for hackers and fraudsters to send email impersonating your organization. As a result, phishing attacks continue to wreak havoc and cause brand damage — as well as actual financial damage — to enterprises.

At the same time, the rapid rise of cloud services has brought an explosion of new email senders, causing companies to lose visibility and control over the email sent on their behalf. In other words, it’s getting harder and harder to sort out legitimate from fraudulent senders.

Email authentication, based on widely-accepted open standards, provides an immediate and effective solution that stops impersonation attacks and provides complete visibility and control over your extended email ecosystem. ValiMail’s innovative, cloud-based platform automates email authentication, giving enterprises control over “shadow email” and protecting their employees, customers, partners, and their own brands from would-be impersonators and phishers.

Our goal is to authenticate the world’s communications, starting with email, and we’re honored to be able to present our solution to the distinguished groups in Scottsdale and Cambridge this month.
