Smell like heavy sweetness, that you can taste on your tongue,

For dinner, savory fruits… Berry or Grape or Goose or Straw,

Or Holly or Ivy or Yew,

Bury a berry in a dirt plot for you, bury and berry with you

Two lovely berries molded on one stem, we

Buried berries, a bearer of bad yews,

Some berries have a stone in the middle, some a stone overhead.

Nor Elder, or Mul, or Bear, all berried,

Would berry as sweet as you.

Some fruits are built of crowds of berries,

Pineapple is neither pine nor apple,

And what’s the point of a buried berry that just won’t bloom?
