Sonnet II: Ardent Sun

Your loving sunbeams fill my heart with light
And your sweet smile clears a rainy day sky.
My heart beats bold like the moon shines at night,
And, in need, is eased by your lullaby.
But, with time, my light is on horizon
And the dusk leaves me in utter darkness,
Awaiting the dawn of my rising sun
When I no longer think of loneliness.
I hear again the morning birds singing:
A joyous sign that you have come again.
Your rays of love are like hugs so warming,
My precious sun, and my most special friend.
Though spinning matters put us at distance,
I always wait and love you in absence.
