Another month in the can for RevenueCat. We shipped some new great features and are on our way to cross-platform support.

Cohort Analysis

Cohort analysis is useful for understanding the composition of your subscriber base. It shows you, for any given day, the composition of active subscription revenue organized by when they signed up.

New cohorts are added on top and old cohorts remain on the bottom, creating a delicious layer cake of revenue that let’s you see how users are retaining.

Cohorts are live now on the dashboard.

Monthly Recurring Revenue Explained

Monthly Recurring Revenue or MRR is a metric used in the RevenueCat dashboard to quantify the performance of your app.

The number itself is a bit of an accounting trick and can be hard to understand. New on the blog I explain MRR, what it is, how it’s calculated, and why it’s important.

Coming soon to an Android phone near you

Implementing subscriptions on iOS is hard. Doing it on multiple platforms is even harder. We are hard at work on seamless support of multi-platform applications.

One app, two platforms, one source of truth for your subscriber base.

Android support will be available towards the end of the April. If you can help beta test, please let me know!
