Project: Reverse Partnership Pools (RPP: RVRS & MC02)

Description: Reverse invests in ReFi Web3 projects that return profits to our community. When we receive project tokens, they increase the value of our treasury but have no direct impact on the $RVRS token price. Instead of selling our investments to buy back $RVRS, which isn’t helpful to the projects we invested in, we add these project tokens into liquidity pools with $RVRS (or RPPs “Reverse Partnership Pools”). This way, as the projects we fund grow, and their token increases in price, so does $RVRS.
This RPP is with MOSS, who through their token & NFT is preserving large areas of the Amazon Rainforest (152 million trees as of this date). MOSS is climatech, a Global leader in environmental solutions through knowledge and blockchain technology. MOSS unites environmental solutions with blockchain technology, which ensures traceability and transparency over everything they do. MOSS wants to simplify and democratize sustainability so that everyone can be part of this movement.

Project: Reverse Partnership Pools (RPP: RVRS & MATIC)
Date: July, 2022
Investment: $1,500
Description: Reverse invests in ReFi Web3 projects that return profits to our community. When we receive project tokens, they increase the value of our treasury but have no direct impact on the $RVRS token price. Instead of selling our investments to buy back $RVRS, which isn’t helpful to the projects we invested in, we add these project tokens into liquidity pools with $RVRS (or RPPs “Reverse Partnership Pools”). This way, as the projects we fund grow, and their token increases in price, so does $RVRS. This RPP is an RVRS/MATIC pool. Polygon has committed to being carbon-negative in 2022, including eliminating all of the network’s carbon debt from its inception. You can check out their Green Manifesto here.

Project: Future Quest
Date: June, 2022
Investment: $150,000
Description: Via the Reverse community, individual contributors were able to raise funds for a Future Quest seed-round (using an SAFT, Simple Agreement for Future Tokens). This was considered an OFC (over the counter) bundling where individual investors funded the needed capital to join this funding round. Expected return is 2X after the 12-month lockout period expires. Each investor is a large Reverse holder and active in the community.
Project: Bee pollinators
Date: February, 2022
Donation: $2,500
Description: In the US, BeeKeepers have lost ~30% of their colonies every year since 2006, with total losses sometimes reaching as high as 42%.In parts of southwest China, farmers are now forced to pollinate by hand due to pollinator decline.
The pollinator awareness & habitat regeneration project was created to bring awareness to this critical problem and help address it. Educators attend major universities and teach what can be done to mitigate it.
Reverse supports this project by providing the materials necessary to [bio]diversify localized areas and regenerate habitats that cultivate pollinators
Project: Costa Rica based NGO “COSTAS VERDES”
Date: December, 2021
Donation: $10,000
Description: COSTAS VERDES is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 with the mission to restore devastated coastal ecosystems from past agricultural practices. They have re-introduced 60 native tree species to their natural habitats.
By creating, leading & implementing reforestation projects in public beachfronts and natural areas, COSTAS VERDES actively involves and empowers local communities to ensure sustainability on their projects.
Project: ecologi reforestation
Date: November, 2021
Donation: $40,000
Description: ecologi supports a multitude of ESG projects, from reforestation to carbon offsetting. Through dedicating an ecologi forest, Reverse has successfully planted over 150,000 trees (including the very efficient carbon sequesterer “the Madagascar mangrove”) which has eliminated removal of 6000 carbon tonnes.
Project: NORI carbon offset marketspace
Date: September, 2021
Donation: $10,000
Description: Purchased removal of 1500 carbon tonnes, offset by the sale of NRTs for Carbon Removal from a cattle farmer in Montana who implemented regenerative farming techniques.
