Aarhus Festuge is made of traditions and coincidences. Of tents and cables. 1000 liters kegs and employees working 10 hours a day. Festugen is regular guests, toilet trailers and stacked chairs.

Festugen has about 500,000 guests every year. The festival is associated with words as party, pleasure and joy.

Aarhus Festuge is the third most famous event among the Danes. Væltepeter, one of the organizers of the beer tent at Telefontorvet, sleeps in the tent at night.

‘Hos Kasper’ at Telefontorvet they have already sold 4000 liters of beer. In just four days. The eight employees work 10 to 18 hours a day.

Most people come to Aarhus Festuge because it happened by chance or because it’s a tradition.
