In this review I will be discussing the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS specifically. I have had it for a few months now and will go into detail about the specifications, price point, different versions, and more.

Different Versions of the Series 3
There are two options for case size with the Series 3. Apple offers a 38mm size as well as a larger 42mm size. Depending on preference, some people may enjoy the slightly larger or smaller look. The 42mm has more pixels and weights lightly more.
There is also the option to buy the GPS version or GPS + Cellular. The GPS version does not have built in cellular capability. The GPS + Cellular model does have built in cellular capability if you have a plan from a service carrier. However, the GPS model is able to connect to your iPhone when it is nearby, so you are able to make and receive calls and texts.
A third option you have is whether or not to go with the Apple Watch Nike+. This version is meant mainly for runners and is slightly more expensive than the regular Apple Watch. It features unique watch faces and has the Nike Run Club app. The Nike model also features a Nike Sport Band which has perforated holes.

What’s in the box?
The contents of the Apple Watch Series 3 box are minimal, but inside is everything you need. The GPS version includes a Silver Aluminum Case, a sport band (S/M and M/L size), and a 1m magnetic charging cable. The GPS + Cellular model also features a 5W USB Power Adapter.
Activation + Pairing
Activation was mostly painless for me. The watch is able to pair to the iPhone using an image that appears on the watch face. To pair, you must scan the image with your iPhone.

The Verdict
I’ve had my Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it! I do not regret this purchase at all. It is great for tracking workouts, is able to connect to my iPhone, and is water resistant! I’ve had a few problems with Siri, but besides that I have had no issues with the watch. The battery life will last me for multiple days. For $200, this was not a bad purchase.
