I give the Nintendo Switch a 9/10 rating.

There are many consoles out there to do a product review on, but it’s always good to talk about the most recent. The Nintendo Switch is the newest edition to Nintendo’s Home Consoles. As always, Nintendo tried to see what they could do to make something that has never been done before. This time they went ahead and made a home console that also has the ability to be a handheld device.

The Box of the Nintendo Switch

What Comes with It
In the box, it comes with the screen and the console holder which also acts as a charger. It comes with two Joy Con controllers and a controller holder. Depending on the box set you get will decide what game comes with it and if it comes with a game. It also comes with an HDMI cord to plug into a TV and an AC adapter to plug it into the wall.

Pros
When in handheld mode, this product has amazing graphics for what a handheld usually has. Graphics are also great on a television.
It’s pretty comfortable to hold as a handheld, and when using just the controller.
The games are high quality.
It’s pretty light and durable.
Easy to travel with if you are going on a trip. Something to pass the time.

Cons
You have the ability to prop the handheld up with a holder on the back, but it isn’t very durable and can fall fairly easily.
Although they have quality games, there are not a whole lot of them as of right now.
The battery life is only about 3–5 hours.

Alternative Products
Alternative products that are comparable to the Nintendo Switch are the Microsoft Xbox One and the Sony Playstation 4. One reason that the Nintendo Switch is ahead is the ability to play it from anywhere. The Xbox and Playstation can only played on a TV. But the Xbox and Playstation both have achievement systems that the Switch doesn’t have.

Past Experiences with Nintendo
I’ve always had good experiences with Nintendo. I still have every system and they all work pretty well still, even my Super Nintendo is in great condition. I highly recommend Nintendo products.

I have enjoyed this console a lot, although I have only played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As of Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), I am excited to see the games they announced come out for this system. I think it’s a solid product that may not have a lot of games, but the quality of the games is amazing. It doesn’t have Xbox One or PS4 graphics, but it allows you to play in console or handheld mode.
