Pearl Bath Bombs Candles — Strawberry Sorbet Coconut Candle

Many of you have probably seen these candles, along with the other products that are now made, that have a hidden piece of jewelry inside them. I just recently received this candle as a birthday present — specifically this Strawberry Sorbet scent. Of course, the candles and other various products come in many other scents. Pearl Bath Bombs also sells bath bombs, luxe soaps, gemstone soaps, and pokebombs.

Specifications:

Pearl Bath Bombs claims that their candles include: a skin softening formula, are handmade in the U.S., are not tested on animals (cruelty-free), that they are 100% vegan, are shipped with biodegradable packing peanuts (and LOTS of them!), are ethically sourced, they are environmentally friendly, they are made from natural ingredients (coconut wax), are made from safe synthetics, and are SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) free.

All of these claims that the Pearl Bath Bombs company makes are designed to help reach a broader audience of people, and they can be found under the description of each of their products. By making them environmentally friendly, 100% vegan and cruelty free, they aim to reach environmentally conscious individuals along with animal activists. This is because a lot of other candle brands will test their products on animals to test for skin sensitivity and toxicity, along with harvesting ingredients from plants and other earthly sources in a harmful manner (deforestation).

How They Work:

After receiving your candle, you light it (obviously) and somewhere in each candle (along with all of their products) is a hidden ring. Once the candle burns enough, you can remove your ring (which is wrapped in tin foil and in a plastic baggie). Each ring/candle comes with a code, which you can enter into your account on the manufacturers website. Each ring is worth so many points (more points = more expensive ring), and as you accumulate points, you can win free items from the manufacturer. My ring is shown below.

Price:

All of their single-scent (non-mixed scents) are priced at $25, which is a pretty decent price. It is pretty reasonable if you wish to give them as a gift. Their two-scent candles are originally priced from $40-$45, depending on the scents selected (I say originally because they are currently on sale).

Other scents:

Scent options include:

  • sea salt & ocean mist (this candle is sold at single-scent price)
  • wild blueberry
  • limoncello
  • coffee espresso
  • toasted coconut
  • soothing eucalyptus
  • Brazilian acai berry
  • peach bellini
  • limoncello & lemongrass
  • peach bellini & strawberries with champagne
  • coffee espresso & vanilla chai
  • Brazilian acai berry & pomegranate with sea goddess.

All of their candle selections can be found at the link given below.

My Personal Rating and Thoughts:

My personal rating

I am giving these candles 4 out of 5 stars. I loved the scent and the ring was beautiful. The seller was quick with processing and shipment. My only concerns were that I found the candle burned very quickly, and when the candle is blow out it produces a great deal of smoke (more than I have witnessed with other candles). The manufacturer claims that the coconut wax should provide 100 hours of burn time, but mine has been lit roughly 24 hours (high-ball guess) and is already half way gone.

My photos:

This is the ring I received from a Pearl Bath Bombs bath bomb.

Pros & Cons:

Pros: You get a pretty ring, the candles smell nice, you earn points towards free rewards, environmentally friendly, shipping is fast.

Cons: Candle smokes a lot when blown out, burns quickly.

Final decision:

I would definitely recommend buying these candles, and the other products that Pearl Bath Bombs offers. They are made with the environment in mind, the company ships quickly, and you get a great smelling candle and a beautiful ring, with the opportunity to win free items!
