Pele: Birth of a Legend (2016), is an excellent movie. Its cinematography, direction, plot, and music are sterling and the actors all fit this beautiful game, spotlighting the brilliant Pele (who played soccer from 1957 to 1977).

This biographical drama shows Pele’s meteoric rise from the slums of Sao Paulo to playing for Brazil in the World Cup, at the age of 17. Pele holds the most career goals of any footballer ever.

Pele made his senior team debut on 7 September 1956 at the age of 15 against Corinthians de Santo André and had an impressive performance in a 7–1 victory, scoring the first goal in his prolific career during the match.

According to Time Magazine, he is one of the 100 most important people of the 20th century. Pele, born in 1940, may be the most important footballer of all time. Pele is famous for his exceptional skills on the field, his scoring ability, and his contributions to the sport.

If, like me, you love the skill of the best soccer players around the world, including Pele, Ronaldo Nazario, Jose Luis Chilavert (my favourite), Messi, Mbappe, Maradonna, Beckenham, and Neymar, then this movie is for you!
