Spirit Halloween Unveils Store Theme for 2025
A review of the Halloween retailer’s teaser for their 2025 theme
After the arrival of Halfway to Halloween last month, I’ve noticed an uptick in news about the upcoming spooky season.
Unfortunately, the first major update from Spirit Halloween was disappointing — their annual flagship grand opening event this summer has been canceled due to supply chain issues. While I don’t make the trek to Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, I always enjoy tuning into various YouTube channels each summer.
Fortunately, Spirit had some good news the next day. On May 23rd, they released their annual teaser for the 2025 In-Store Experience (ISE) theme. If you’re unfamiliar with Spirit Halloween, it’s more than just a store — it transforms its locations with themed settings, such as a cemetery or haunted farmhouse, to showcase its animatronics.
After last year’s Carnevil, I was eager for a change from Spirit Halloween’s perpetual clown obsession. Based on the trailer, Madison Scare Park appears to have a New York subway theme. Some social media comments suggest it resembles the 2015 ISE Spirit Station Z, though I don’t recall seeing that one in person.
