Spatial designer Dan Wu joined REVIVAL NFT Fund’s Medici Support Program. Dan is the co-founder of Hashtag Design Italia (HDI-Milan) and the head of the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI) in Mainland China and has a Ph.D. in Design from Politecnico di Milano University.

“Fang Cun Universe”
The walls on both sides of the space are cut into different grids, and vertical lines are used to create a sense of depth. Mirrors are used to bring the freshness of space changes. The classic modern black and white tile design on the right side contrasts sharply with the left side. The famous Renaissance Italian artist Michelangelo’s masterpiece “Genesis” is painted on the main wall. The distinctive orange seats and the broken floor echo the design theme of breaking the gap between time and space and also bring a sense of strength to the overall space.
The simple furniture and layout in the small room seem to condense the development of human society for hundreds of years, allowing people to feel the passing of time and experience the development and changes of the world within a few inches.
“Old Times”
Three round lights with soft lighting stand near the wall. The light is in mild contrast with the wall, recreating the scene of a peaceful night near a small pond with a full moon. The stone piers, wooden courtyard pillars, and the brown-yellow seats made of bamboo and rattan are full of oriental charm. The choice of furniture material and color create the comfort of old times. The whole space makes people feel calm and comfortable.
“Dazzling Beauty”
The simple and clean canvas, the obvious contrast of light and dark on the hands, and the partially blurred arms make people feel that the woman seems to be under strong light. The lofty and indifferent look that makes people afraid to look directly strengthens this feeling while filling the blank background.
The outline of the woman’s head and hands are highlighted by continuous solid lines, which brings a sense of three-dimensionality and layering. So that the woman is not covered up in the strong light without losing her beauty. It seems that the woman is admiring her hand while ignoring other things, which conveys the artist’s belief that women are beautiful if they are confident and independent.
“A restaurant on the sea”
The choice of cool colors gives the whole space a sense of sight of the sea when a ray of morning light kindles the sky. The kids on the mural seem to be tumbling in the water. The furniture of the Nordic minimalist style also brings a cold feeling. The choice of tables, chairs, floors, and walls of cool color style and the circular curve contour design of the tables and chairs blur the fog boundaries and bring gentleness in the cold air. Although the bright yellow light is small, it is conspicuous, like a lighthouse on the sea, penetrating the fog and bringing you warmth in the cool. Combining the two makes the entire space elegant while revealing a pleasant and relaxing factor in the cold.
