Mengchen Zhang has been creating the “Life Diary” series since 2014 and recording the details and pieces of life by her brushes.
This series originated from a car accident that changed her life and values. Mengchen was in a coma for two weeks due to the accident, during which she was conscious but unable to open her eyes. The fear made her immensely cherish life itself. After recovering from the coma, she began to create her own “Life Diary,” simply recording the moments that moved her every day.
With the creation of “Life Diary”, Mengchen can feel her existence both mentally and physically. She hopes that she wouldn’t be alone and fearful longer when she gets to take off. She can truly feel the day she has lived on earth. It’s the original intention of her “Life Diary” creation, without any gorgeous packaging, just the purest and most authentic nostalgia for life.
