Policy update on penalties for listing counterfeit items on Revival
Since launch, we have received many valuable feedbacks about how we can improve our platform. Based on those feedbacks, our team is working around the clock to bring more exciting features and improve user experiences for our supporters and NFT collectors alike.
Recently, we found out that some users have created or listed counterfeit items for illegal profit. To protect original creators’ intellectual property right and make sure that our users are as safe as possible from scams and fraudulent content, Revival team have updated the penalties for listing counterfeit items as follows:
- If an asset is verified to be a counterfeit item, Revival will remove this asset from the market. (Note: the creator or owner of this counterfeit item can still view and delist this asset on the account page)
- If a user lists up to 5 or more counterfeit items on Revival, or if a certain listing activity constitutes serious copyright infringement, Revival will ban the user’s account from listing assets on the market indefinitely. (Note: Revival will remove all assets belong to the user from the market, but the user can still view and delist assets on the account page)
Revival NFT Marketplace will periodically publish the latest ban list. If you believe your creation is original and object to our ban decision, please send an email to revival@emogi.io to explain in detail for appeal. Our team will get back to you within 15 working days.
How to report a counterfeit item?
If you have reason to believe that an asset listed on Revival is a counterfeit, and listing this asset constitutes copyright infringement, please report it by filling out this form. If in the case that you have reported an asset beforehand and have not seen action, feel free to reach back out to us via email revival@emogi.io so that we can verify that the appropriate course of action was taken.
