Revolve Games is thrilled to announce the public beta launch of our latest creation, V2 of Bones and Blade public beta!

Bones and Blade V2 is the most significant iteration, as it plugs into our play to earn model.

We’ve been tirelessly crafting a unique gaming ecosystem that seamlessly blends immersive gameplay with DeFi. Our innovative approach lies in the construction and balance of our ecosystem. By intertwining RPG tokens and tethered assets, we create an inherent stability within the gameplay and financial dynamics. This amalgamation ensures that value is always underpinned by real-world assets, which brings an unprecedented level of sustainability and robustness to our play-to-earn model.

We have worked diligently to ensure that the game is accessible to all players, regardless of their level of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or new to blockchain technology, we believe that you’ll enjoy the gameplay and the rewards that come with it.

We are excited about the future of Bones and Blade, and we hope that you’ll join us on this journey. The public beta launch is just the beginning, and we look forward to your feedback as we continue to improve the game. Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait for you to play Bones and Blade beta V2!

The main updates in V2

Levels and Staking Boosters System

Playable character NFTs tethered to RPG staking contracts now plug into our levels and staking boosters system. The play to earn model is designed to shift rewards distribution more towards active players than passive stakers. In V2 beta, the APY of your staking tethered character will be directly affected by in-game performance, win more matches and earn more staking rewards.

Full Profile Display

A full profile display shows your characters stats, such as XP and levels.

End of Game Summary

At the end of each game, a pop up screen displays your achievements including any boosters won.

Play to Earn Mechanics

Bones and Blade is Revolve Games’ first release which incorporates our staking tethered NFT characters into gameplay.

It’s important to note that V1 of the beta will not yet be plugged into the rewards system. This will be introduced in V2 of the public beta (mid March).

Players who stake and generate characters in the Revolve Games platform are able to battle their characters against other players. Players earn through performance based staking rewards. Each character that goes into battle participates in our levels and booster system, which heavily reward players who play and win over passive staking tethered NFT holders.

The percentage share of dynamically distributed staking rewards is calculated based on 4 values. These values are level points, rarity points, booster points and staked amount. Each of these is represented in the equation by a staking points weight (SPW) value.

Each tethered staking contract will receive rewards according to the following formula:

Weight = [1+(Level/100)]*[1+(Rarity Score/10)]*Outstanding Booster Points * Staked Amount

A character levels up by earning XP points. A player will gain XP points by both winning and losing matches, but wins earn more XP points than losses. Each level adds a 0.01 base staking weight point, Maxing out at Level 10 (eventually this number will be increased to 100).

Of the 4 values (apart from the RPG staked amount), booster points provide the largest staking weight multiplier. While boosters are the largest contributor to the rewards weight, they last for only 3 days.

There are 3 booster sizes:

Small: with a value of 5 in weight (40% chance of winning a booster per game won)

Medium: with a value of 15 in weight (5% chance of winning a booster per game won)

Large: with a value of 75 in weight (1% chance of winning a booster per game won)

It’s important to note that you will only have the chance of receiving boosters on games won.

Our machinations model will help to visualize how the levels and boosters system works with Bones and Blade:

Bones and Blade, the new game from Revolve Games, features staking tethered NFT characters that players can battle against each other. Bones and Blade public beta V2 allows players to earn performance-based staking rewards by staking and generating characters in the Revolve Games platform.

The rewards are heavily based on the levels and booster system, where each character that goes into battle participates. The percentage share of dynamically distributed staking rewards is calculated based on 4 values: level points, rarity points, booster points, and staked amount. Each tethered staking contract will receive rewards according to a formula that takes these values into account.

Players can earn XP points to level up their characters, and each level adds a 0.01 base staking weight point, with the maximum level being Level 10 (this number will eventually be increased to 100). Wins earn more XP points than losses. The booster points provide the largest staking weight multiplier, but they only last for 3 days.

There are three booster sizes: small, medium, and large. Each booster size has a specific weight value, and players have a chance of winning a booster after winning a game. The machinations model helps visualize how the levels and boosters system works in Bones and Blade.

New Upcoming Updates

The development team plans to introduce a new method for handling dice rolls after the public beta. They also plan to implement an inventory system, which will serve as a deck construction system and allow players to acquire new cards. The team will also work on fixing any issues and bugs through a feedback loop, as well as create versions for Mac OS and iOS.

In addition to the current multiplayer format, the team will introduce a single-player campaign and story mode. New cards and functions, such as a skill tree, friend list, friendly battles, and waging battles features, as well as leaderboards and rewards based on leader position, and Twitch support will also be added.
The team also plans to incorporate guilds and sponsorship support, and create inter-game connectivity with other games developed by Revolve Games.

About Revolve Games

Revolve Games is redefining GameFi , with a play, earn and save blockchain gaming ecosystem where users earn staking rewards according to their in game performance. The Revolve gaming mechanics and token utility are delivered through the Selestium multiverse.

Actionable assets in the ecosystem are tethered and representative of an RPG (the native token of Revolve) stake. Simply, these NFTs will need to be returned to the staking contract in order for players to withdraw the corresponding RPG staked. NFT staking contracts can also be bought and sold through the Revolve NFT marketplace. This model ensures that the value of NFTs is always contained within, and supports the value of the native token.
