Selestium Firma and Land Utility
We are excited to announce Selestium Firma - Selestium’s land builder companion app, which allows you to manage your land even before the full release of Selestium. Since Selestium is being developed in a modular fashion, it will be released in stages; Pylon defense being the first MVP of Selestium.
Using Firma to manage your land will provide you more benefits in Pylon Defense, Bones and Blade and future Selestium modules. It’s a fun way of interacting with your land and will be available on both desktop and mobile.
Each building has a set construction time, in general, the more value the building has, the longer it will take to build.
Users can scan and view all the land plots in Selestium to see what buildings have been built and more information pertaining to the land.
Benefits of developing your land using Firma
Owning land is of great benefit in Selestium. Land owners have a unique opportunity that nomads do not, they are able to build important features which provide great benefit in game. Some of these features include housing, mining facilities, tech labs, barracks, event facilities and more. There are in game advantages of developing on your land prior to all Selestium modules being released.
Firma Benefits in Pylon Defense
Players in Pylon Defense will receive resources and XP increased rates depending on the buildings they build on their land. Let’s take for example a player who builds a mining rig and mines for blood stone; this resource will have a higher chance of dropping when playing pylon defense due to the effects of the mining rig on their plot of land.
Firma Benefits in Bones and Blade
Players in Bones and Blade will also receive carryover benefits from Firma. Buildings print cards for Bones and Blade, which would otherwise require you to earn while playing Bones and Blade. For example, this could be a dwelling card for building a house.
Skin finder
By building a research facility, the players can set out to find new skins each day. With the chance of finding rare skins for their NFT players in pylon defense or the Bones and Blade.
Other Land Utilities
Landowners will also enjoy benefits outside of gameplay, as listed below.
Landowners get special access to unique skins and avatars unavailable to the public
We will regularly release new skins and items to landowners’ buildings that can be found through playing and using the buildings as a random reward.
Landowners get special access to unique characters unavailable to the public
New races and characters will be first released to landowners. Depending on the results with the landowners these races will be released to the public or they will stay as landowners only.
Advertising — the landowners can advertise their products and services by customizing their properties on Selestium Metaverse
You may place billboards or posters around your buildings and land and you can upload your own images and videos. As well, you can name your buildings, NPC dialogue, and NPC name.
You can also sell items that link to your physical or digital store. This means you can sell and advertise your products in your online buildings.
Landowner-only discord where the developers will answer questions basically it’s an AMA all the time.
We have built a specific discord just for landowners to discuss updates and changes to our games. This will give you the latest updates and directions for the game.
Get Landowner cards for Bones and Blade
Buildings can print cards for Bones and Blade which would otherwise require you to earn while playing Bones and Blade.
Rent land to players for RPG
If you would like, you can rent all the features of the land to players for RPG based on a given time. They will then run the land as if it were their own. This would be no different from renting land in a physical property agreement.
Rent buildings to players for RPG
Similar to the above, you can rent specific buildings to players giving them the advantages of the building and this will work the same as renting land to players.
Resource and XP multipliers
Simply by owning land you will gain multipliers for all players who are part of your guild. Specific buildings will help increase the speed.
Marketplace for free (until you reached the cost of your land)
Any time you sell an NFT on the marketplace you will not be charged until the cost of the land is covered. This means the cost of your land is repaid back to you in the marketplace fee-free time. You can also rent this land with this as a benefit.
Buildings that produce unique equipment or items (Weapons, Armor, Mounts, and Pets)
Specific Weapons, Items, ect are found as blueprints in the game, these blueprints can be added to your buildings allowing players to spend a portion of the RPG to use the building and acquire the unique items. You can also produce the items yourself and sell them on the secondary market.
Unique Landowner created new characters, items, pets, and vehicles.
You can use the uniquely created items, this is a system that requires specific goods or resources to build items that are uniquely yours. This would mean, the color, look, and feel would be unique to you, allowing you to build an item that represents your brand or guild.
Selestium Land
Virtual Land ownership in Revolve allows users to participate in the metaverse in several ways:
Landowners gain access to certain resources depending on their lands biome and position.
Landowners are able to build features on their land which will benefit them in-game, these features include: housing, mining facilities, schools, barracks, training fields, forges, research facilities and more.
Landowners can deploy e-commerce storefronts and sell in-game items to other users.
Landowners enjoy the ability to generate passive income through renting out their land to other players.
From using the land for housing and expanding their control throughout the Selestium Metaverse to crop farming, mining, construction and manufacturing — there are no limits to how players can use their virtual plots and benefit from them.
In line with the ever-expanding Selestium Metaverse, we want to expand the horizons of the economic opportunities in the game. Players are able to capitalize on their land and build houses to safeguard their resources, start guilds and expand their diplomatic control to become even more powerful.
Land can be bought, sold or traded online including all buildings and rental agreements with players. Or better yet — you can rent it out for a stable line of income or organize a business (shop/marketplace) from it. We envision a vibrant merchant to take roots inside the Selestium Metaverse, making the world even richer with experiences and unique in-game assets.
Layer 0 and Land Types
Once they have purchased land in the Selestium Metaverse, players will be able to build and expand on it to ward off unwanted creatures. There are multiple Biomes with unique habitats in the virtual world that allow for farming, hunting, foraging and mining. The main types of Biomes are grasslands, tropical, wetland, tropical, mountain, tundra, desert, savanna and ice with more in development.
Grasslands
Grasslands are used to cultivate food, mine basic resources like starting ores and trees. It’s mostly flat with some hills or mountains. This is the easiest land to acquire and offers the best starting area.
Tropical
Tropical has a higher amount of fruit and wood resources. Similar to the grassland you will have a lot of areas to build, but due to the terrain and wood surrounding the area your ability to build will be less than the grasslands. This land will be a focus for players who want a little more cover for their base and to focus on the resource of wood.
Wetland
Landowners who want to focus on farming as their main resources will consider buying Wetlands. Wetlands are a cross between grasslands and tropical. Due to the high volume of rain, the number of water resources required for farming is reduced but this also leads to an increased time to acquire other resources such as wood, animals, and ore.
Mountain
Mountain terrain has more ore resources, crystals, and better coverage. But as a trade-off, you lose the ability to build as much as the grasslands due to the rocky terrain.
Tundra
In the land of Tundra, landowners can expect a mix between grassland and mountains. You gain the access to ore materials at a reduced rate compared to mountains, you lose the ability to build within the mountains, but you have more landmass to build on.
Desert
The desert offers increased sand and glass resources and mining. Any solar energy increases as well. It also suits races that don’t require much water to survive. One of the hardest places to start in, this land has a lot of hidden dungeons and treasures to be explored.
Savanna
The drylands of the Savanna make it ample breeding grounds for dangerous creatures. These lands are best for players who want to focus on beast breeding or killing the dangerous beast. This area is also known for a specific creature known as the Clublub. Clublub is a giant ant-like creature, which when attacked will call forth its army of ants laying in the ground to help defend. This is one of 4 mighty creatures that roam the savanna.
Ice
Food resource decay slows down here, this area requires a strong resistance to cold.
Another component of the world we’re building is the Layer 0 metaverse, which acts as a gateway, a social platform, and a location to improve or grow characters. Layer 0 is a social metaverse sandbox, where players will have full access to their character’s powers and no limitations. They are free to use their lands or the buildings on their lands to directly change, grow, and improve their characters for the Revolve game they are about to join. Layer 0 contains its own currency called DEC (Digital Energy Conversion). DEC can be exchanged for any of the metagames currency and back.
Owning land is the first step to building the infrastructure and accumulating the tools to easily create, share, experience, and monetize resources and digi-physical products for RPG tokens.
