There are several ways to submit your story to Rewriting the Narrative.

Typewriter with the words “Your story here” and the RtN logo on a paper against a purple background
ID: A photo of a typewriter with the words “What happens next?” above the RtN logo typed and highlighted on a piece of paper set against a light purple background.
  1. The fastest way to submit your post is by completing this Rewriting the Narrative Submission Form.

2. Email the blog’s editor, Virginia Ossana, at v.ossana@womenenabled.org, with the subject line “New Blog Submission.” You may paste the text into the body of the email or attach a Word Document.

3. If you are a Medium author and would like to submit through Medium’s internal system, please reach out to the team at communications@womenenabled.org to coordinate.

What happens next?

Once you submit your story, the WEI Communications Team will review it. The team will be in touch with you to share the publication details, coordinate payment, and to let you know about any edits.

Note: WEI Communications Team reserves the right to edit your article, including grammar, spelling, and formatting. Major edits will be shown to the author before publishing.

If you do not hear from the WEI Communications Team within 10 working days of the date when we acknowledged receipt of submission, please assume that WEI will not be able to publish your post.

As we seek to grow our blog and this new network, we welcome any and all feedback on this submission form and the website more broadly. You can reach our team at communications@womenenabled.org
