You may have noticed over the past few months that we have slowly been releasing scores on our DeFi Deep Dives into various protocols. The R.F. Capital Alpha Score reflects our assessment of these protocols using our years of research and experience in the space. This scoring system is a part of our growing database cataloguing important innovations and projects across the crypto landscape.
The score takes into account 6 major points of interest:
- Security
- Decentralization
- Use Case
- Tokenomics
- Team
- Working Product
While we can not specify exactly what we are looking at entirely in these touch points as that is the secret sauce, there are some things that we can disclose to you.
Overall, we are looking to ensure that projects in the crypto space are held to a higher standard that cuts through the noise and speculation. Our unique lens allows us to delve into the inner workings of these innovations to not only compare the best projects against each other but to identify key opportunities that would otherwise be overlooked.
With this scoring engine, we are able to gain a deeper understanding of possible future legal troubles for the team or investors of these early stage entities. The system allows us to detect issues preventing the given project from scaling in their vertical against others like it and whether or not they have the kind of team in place to compete in their sector. We are even able to identify whether or not their flagship product offerings are sound or if they are selling high quality vaporware.
