A little bird
In my back yard
Told me a tale that
It heard from a whale
While flying across
The big blue ocean
To this great land
Where she would stay
For only a short while
Before she would leave
And continue her
Never ending journey
On her flight
To see new sights
And hear new stories
From lands and oceans afar
And I can’t wait until
The little bird returns
Again one day
To share more tales with me
