Colours after sunset
As the clouds grew dim and the evening dark,
I watched the sunset make its mark
Across the sky with its beautiful hues,
That caused me to wonder and get lost in my muse
About colours and shades and swirls of delight,
That painted the sky ahead of the night,

And as the colourful shades slowly faded,
I realised my mind was truly persuaded,
That perhaps this show which happens each night,

So we learn to appreciate beauty and art,
And remember that all of us play a part,
In this great big world, underneath the same sky,
We’re all in it together — you, him, her, and I.
So let’s take a moment to glance overhead,
