Lavender Dreams
A poetic journey

I place
lavender
by my pillow
at night
because the smell
is divine
and it helps me
drift to sleep.
I dream of a
wide open
field of
lavender
that sweeps
over a hillside
by a quaint
cottage
tucked
away
in the French
countryside
as the
sweet smell
of lavender
fills my dreams.
