While the sun shines
Petunias
And poetry

Petunias dance in the wind
Like flamboyant dresses
Pink, purple, red, yellow, and white
A honeybee sees a suitor
And they court for an enchanting moment
As the wind wafts a rhythm
That feels like the flamenco
Before the bee selects a new partner
And does another little dance
Until all the petunias smile
And curtsy to their suitor
While the sun smiles from above
