INGREDIENTS:

Poha, Peanuts, Mustard seeds (rai), Potato (optional- boiled/ fried cubed)curry leaves, sukhi laal mirch, green chillies, garlic (grated), onions, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt (as per taste)

METHOD:

Take poha in a strainer and wash them under running cold water and moisten them with water.

Put oil in kadai. Add uradh daal (when starts changing color), add peanuts and let them roast for a while. Add sukhi laal mirch (break it), green chillies (chopped), garlic (grated), and then add mustard seeds. When they stop spluttering add onion and fry them till transluent. Add curry leaves (fry for 1 minute), haldi, salt, red chilli powder (optional). Add potato cubes (bolied or fried before with little oil in kadai). Mix well and add poha and mix well. You can add 1 tsp desi ghee and cover it for 4–5 minutes on low flame. Stirr in b/w so that it don’t stick to it. Turn off gas, garnish with dhaniya patta (Cilantro leaves).
