Employees Honored During Service Award Banquet

During Richardson ISD’s annual Board of Trustees service award banquet on May 23rd, presented by the Richardson Education Association, a number of teachers and central administrators were honored for their longevity with the district, ranging from 10 years up to 51 years.

The event also included several special awards. Among them were:

Berkner High School’s Lauren Ledford, Red Apple Award winner as outstanding first-year teacher at a secondary school

Dover Elementary’s Melissa Wells, Red Apple Award winner as outstanding first-year teacher at an elementary school

Stults Road Elementary’s Anthony Dunnington, 2019 Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year

Apollo Junior High’s Nick Rustin, 2019 Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year

Dr. Matthew Gibbins — Patti Kieker Servant Leader Award
