There is nothing I enjoy more than making sports predictions or as I commonly do, guess and pray! The 2010 MLB Divisional round may be one of the most exciting ones in years. Here are my predictions, comment and give your predictions below…

I got the Tampa Bay Rays in a sweep over the Texas Rangers

  • The Rays are the complete package right now. Lee may help the Rangers steal one, but without Josh Hamilton at 100% it will be tough for the Rangers.

San Francisco Giants with a sweep of the Atlanta Braves

  • Is there a more fitting way for Braves’ manager Bobby Cox to end his career than with a final first round exit. Braves snuck into the playoffs by luck over good play. Giants pitching and hitting is just too strong.

The Philadelphia Phillies in a nailbitting 5 games over the Cincinnati Reds.

  • The Phillies starting pitching will give them the edge, but this should be the most exciting divisional round matchup in recent years.

The Minnesota Twins in 4 over the New York Yankees.

  • The Yankees just don’t have “it” this year. Twins will finally make the leap over the Yankees after years of frustration.
