Although I correctly picked the New England Patriots and New York Giants to win their respective Conference Championship games on RideThePine.com, has there ever been two teams that have backed into a Super Bowl more than the Patriots and Giants?
I’m not so convinced that Baltimore Ravens Wide Receiver Lee Evans didn’t catch that touchdown pass. And that chip-shot miss by Scott Norwood…Ray Finkel…I mean Billy Cundiff was just heart breaking to the Baltimore Ravens defense that has carried that team for years.
And the Giants? They needed TWO punt return fumbles and a premature whistle to stop an Ahmad Bradshaw would-be fumble to win this game in overtime. I got a question for Giants fans out there, is Eli Manning really an elite quarterback when San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Alex Smith ended the game with a higher passer rating?
