Most baseball fans are pretty familiar with the misfortunes of the Chicago Cubs. Not only is their 104 year championship drought the longest in professional sports history, they haven’t had a winning season since 2009. In fact, last year was the first time since 1966 that they lost 100 games in a season (101 to be exact).

It doesn’t matter how many dead goat heads are sent to the stadium this year, a championship is not in the Cubs future.

So it shouldn’t be surprising that the 2013 season hasn’t started off that well with a 4–7 record. Their most recent losing effort to the San Francisco Giants saw catcher Steve Clevenger strike out to end the game and in doing so straining his left abdominal that will force him out of action for 6 weeks.

Now, I wonder what would happen if he drank goat’s blood during his rehab…
