Clint Dempsey’s Nose Is Almost Kicked Off His Face

United States soccer star Clint Dempsey had an interesting first half during the National Team’s first game of the 2014 World Cup. It started with a goal 29 seconds into the game, the 5th fastest goal in World Cup history, and it ended with him suffering a broken nose after being kicked in the face by Ghana defender John Boye.

The US went on to win 2–1 and earn a valuable 3 points in the “Group of Death” but, God Damnit, that had to hurt.
