At least Brandon Knight tried.

That is the only positive thing you can say in favor of the Detroit Pistons guard because this was the most obliterating dunk I’ve ever seen. Chris Paul floated a pass from the 3-point line to center DeAndre Jordan who slammed it home from the middle of the key. Lob City. Everyone on the bench, to the kids, to DeAndre Jordan’s painful “I know I just delivered pain” sneer [below] had great reactions. This will easily be in contention for Dunk of the Year.

DeAndre Jordan's reaction to dunk on Brandon Knight

To add insult to injury, the ref had the nerve to call a foul on Knight. The Clippers ended up destroying the Pistons as a team, winning 129–97. Jordan ended the night with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Knight had 10 points, 3 assists, and 1 facial.

The internet trolls went to work after the dunk, hacking Knight’s Wikipedia page and claiming he died from the dunk:

“On March 10, 2013 Knight died in a game vs the Los Angeles Clippers. The cause of death was determined to be DeAndre Jordan.”

Jordan’s Wikipedia page was also updated with a murder charge:

“Jordan was brought up on 1st degree murder charges on March 10, 2013, in his monstrous assassination of Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight. Knight died in mid-air.”

The internet continues to dominate as someone, who is hilarious, took Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler’s play-by-play call from when Mankind was thrown off of the Hell in the Cell cage at the 1998 King of the Ring and placed it over the dunk.
