If you had to put together a Battle Royal match in 1988 filled with Major League Baseball stars, it would’ve looked very similar to the bench clearing brawl that took place between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night.

Don Mattingly squaring off against Alan Trammell.
Mark McGwire in a tie up with Kirk Gibson.
Matt Williams trying to play mediator.

Its like if my Sega Genesis Sports Talk Baseball had a fighting mode.

After 1 Dodger and 2 Diamondback players were hit heading into the bottom of the 7th inning, Zach Greinke had no chance of surviving an at-bat against Ian Kennedy. Kennedy threw at Greinke’s head started the action that lasted almost 5 minutes.
