Donald Sterling Banned For Life From NBA

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced today that he is imposing a lifetime ban of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling from the NBA, along with a maximum fine of $2.5 million for his recorded racists comments made public last week.

Silver said he has also asked the Board of Governors to force a sale of the Clippers, which would require a three-quarters vote by the owners.

Sterling can’t even attend an NBA game if he buys a ticket.
