Even The Announcers Don’t Like Watching The Sixers

The Philadelphia Sixers are not really good. I know it’s early in the season but the 0–4 Sixers are not expected to be good. The organization has not openly admitted to tanking the season in an effort to get next year’s #1 draft pick, but former coach and executive Larry Brown thinks their losing plan is so obvious that it makes him “sick to [his] stomach.”

If the team is throwing away the season, can we really blame these announcers for watching Monday Night Football instead of the team on the court? In fact, I’m sure everyone in the stands is jealous that they have access to the game. You know what? As a life long Philadelphia sports fan, there is only one thing that shows your fandom more then watching a Philly sports team and that is watching the New York Giants lose.

Hopefully the Sixers announcers caught the only bright spot of the season, Noels delivering this monster block on James Harden.
