Fred Confederations Cup Goal

Brazilian striker Frederico Chaves Guedes, better known as Fred, scored the first goal of the Confederations Cup final today within the first few minutes of the match. That fact is not a big deal. What made the goal a big deal, was that he scored after falling to his stomach but somehow still able to whip his right foot around to score past the Spain keeper.

Brazil ended up winning the match 3–0 and clinching the cup for the third consecutive tournament. The Confederations Cup is held every four years, just on year prior to the World Cup.
