Harlem Globetrotter Almost Died After Backboard Crashes On His Face

The greatest trick this Harlem Globetrotter has ever pulled off was not dying.

Bull Bullard, a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, escaped serious injury after a backboard collapsed on top of his head. The Globetrotters were in Honduras when this incident happened and here is the description on their YouTube page.

A scary moment when a basketball hoop falls on top of Bull Bullard. Bull shatters the backboard and pulls the hoop down at Nacional de Ingenieros Coliseum in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, as part of the team’s tour of Central America. Bull is okay.

Technically, that backboard didn’t “shatter” until after it hit Bull’s head. Just saying.
