I can’t believe that ESPN, Yahoo, and Brooklyn Nets insiders have sources that are confirming that Jason Kidd will become the next head coach for his former team.

Jason Kidd, the guy who was coming off the bench for the New York Knicks last season. Yeah, those Knicks, who’s offensive strategy consisted of passing to Carmelo Anthony and getting the fuck out of the way.

How did he pry the job away from leading candidate Brian Shaw? He pitched Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov and GM Billy King, that he can overcome his lack of coaching experience with the hiring of former head coach Lawrence Frank as his lead assistant.

Really?

I would’ve fired him right there for that idea alone. Nothing like an NBA coaching retread to guide your future. More proof that NBA head coaches are pretty much worthless to the success of the organization.
