An early turning point during Super Bowl 49 was Jeremy Lane’s interception of Tom Brady at the goal line. It stopped an early opportunity for the New England Patriots to score but worse for the Seahawks, Lane suffered this gruesome arm injury that took him out of the game.
The Patriots eventually picked on Lane’s replacement, Tharold Simon, who failed to stop two Patriot touchdowns receptions.
Sidenote: Lane’s arm looks like Gumby or Mr. Fantastic.
