Yankees manager Joe Girardi was so upset after Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster beaned Alex Rodriguez that he almost punched the umpire right in the face.
Dempster repeatedly threw inside on A-Rod until finally hitting him in the second inning of their Sunday night series rubber match. Girardi was ejected after his tirade.
