No play sums up the Yankees troubled 2012 postseason run than this error by Mark Teixeira in Game 4 of the ALCS against the Detroit Tigers.

Kind of like A-Rod’s plate appearances.
The ball took a bad bounce on Teixeira but even after the ball hit off his glove he still thought it was in the webbing. Like, there is no way I could make an error, I’m Mark Teixeira. How dare that ball not be in my glove, I’m Mark Teixeira. I like to blow-out my cheeks when I make plays because, I’m Mark Teixeira.
