Welcome to RideThePine.com

I don’t know what happened, but this by far was the most embarrassing week in the history of football. Well, not virgins kissing for the first time embarrassing, but pretty embarrassing. Is she eating him?

Rolando McClain, a young and up and coming linebacker for the Oakland Raiders, was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill someone while holding a gun to their head and then firing off a round off behind their ear. McClain was arrested the following day and seemed to be all smiles as he was handcuffed and put into the police cruiser.

These two old-timers refuse to put to rest a 40 year-old feud that started in the Canadian Football League and continued at the 2011 Grey Cup Banquet. I was told the Grey Cup is the CFL’s Super Bowl which is awesome among other great Canadian exports, like Nickelback.

You know when you are too old to be fighting, when your primary weapon is a cane.

Probably the worst thing I saw all week was Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson doing the most epic of flops.

Seriously, just get out of the league and don’t come back until you play like an adult.
