Official Jeff Triplette had a lot of pent-up energy he needed to burn off in his first game back on a NFL field. Who knew that Packers linebacker Clay Matthews would be the victim?

Late in the 4th quarter of the Green Bay Packers 28–27 win over the New Orleans Saints, Darren Sproles fumbled a kickoff return that caused a heated pile-up for the ball. While the officials were trying to determine who had possession Triplette pushed Matthews away by his helmet than followed that up with a shove to his chest. Triplette even gave some head wagging to Matthews.

I would recommend that Triplette get a Discount Doublecheck on some health insurance.

The ball was eventually ruled down by contact (which was a terrible call).
