Well, last night sucked. Here I am, Mr. Big Shot, trying to show the world how great I am at Daily Fantasy Basketball and I put together an awful performance.

As I stated last night, I put my financial future into the hands of Utah’s Raul Neto. That was a mistake. His 2 points, 4 assists, and 4 turnovers were a disaster. After a rough night, you can’t bail on the process. Just like the Sixers front office, you have to trust the process. We will talk about that another time. Right now, lets make some picks.

DraftKings (Bankroll: $44 (-6))

$200K Sharpshooter ($10K to 1st!) — $3 entry
$500K MEGA Crossover ($100K to 1st) — $27 entry

Deron Williams. Over the last 5 games, no one has given up more points to opposing PGs than the Orlando Magic. The wildcard in this scenario is that the Magic just acquired Brandon Jennings as their backup PG. How will this impact the Magic? It gives them the best hair combo on the PG position ever but their defense is still going to suck tailpipes.

Will Barton. We’re rolling big with the Nuggets tonight as they take on the dysfunctional and terrible defending Sacramento Kings. At almost every position, the Kings have given up more points than any other team. Shooting Guard is no exception. Will “The Thrill” Barton scores. That is the only thing he does. The Kings might be without McLemore and Belinelli tonight. Not even sure if they have another Shooting Guard on the team.

Danilo Gallinari. Ditto.

Amar’e Stoudemire. Stoudemire has been sneaky good over the last 10 games. He will continue to benefit from the injuries of Bosh and Whiteside and a weak Atlanta front court defense. He is a good value play tonight so that you can spend money else where.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng. All of the numbers show that Memphis is tough against Power Forwards and Centers. Sometimes number lie. First, Memphis is without Marc Gasol for the next 4–6 months. Second, over the last 7 games Towns and Dieng have combined for SEVEN 50+ DFP performances.

Reggie Jackson. I’m nervous about this pick. The Pistons made some trade moves that will help their offense and negatively impact Jackson’s scoring. However, the Wizards are on the 2nd night of back-to-back and have historically struggled the most defending PG. This pick will make or break our night.

Norris Cole. The Sixers give up a lot of points to PGs. Cole is another good value play but always has the possibility of putting up a really shitty performance. Can’t wait to make fun of him tomorrow.

Yahoo! Sports (Bankroll:$93 (-30))

$16K Tournament [$1.5K to 1st] — $5 Entry
$10 Decuple Up [Win $100] — $10 Entry

Deron Williams.

Devin Booker. Booker has been one of the best rookies this season. His Suns are playing a Houston team that likes to run and plays high-scoring games. Plus, James Harden may have an awesome beard but he does not have an awesome defensive stance.

Reggie Jackson.
Danilo Gallinari.
Gorgui Dieng.

Maurice Harkless. I needed a $10 wildcard. Harkless had a big game right before the All-Star break and playing the Warriors means that the pace will be fast enough for Harkless to get his points and return value.

Karl-Anthony Towns.
Norris Cole.

FanDuel (Bankroll: $25 (-$5))

$50K Fri NBA Big $5 Double Up
$250K Fri NBA Shot [$20K to 1st]

I running a double up with FanDuel. Mostly because I want to win a little bit of cash tonight but also because I can never win in FanDuel.

Norris Cole.
Deron Williams.
James Harden. Harden will have a big night against the Suns, who stink. My only concern is will he do enough to return value. I’m thinking yest because I think Dwight Howard may sulk tonight because his feelings are probably hurt that he was almost traded.

Devin Booker.
Danilo Gallinari.
Trevor Ariza.
Amar’e Stoudemire.
Gorgui Dieng.
Karl-Anthony Towns.
