Add another $20 to our season win total after winning two DraftKings MLB tournaments last night. Now that we totally jinxed ourselves, lets get to tonight’s picks with $1 million are on the line and first place is taking home $150K in DraftKings MLB $1M Sweet Spot contest.

Pitchers
Jose Fernandez ($11,900) @ New York Mets

The defending NL Champions still have the worst team batting average in baseball and Fernandez is coming off a 13 strikeout outing. I’m predicting a 30+ point night for Fernandez.

Matt Moore ($8,400) vs Cleveland Indians.

Moore took a no-decision in his first start of the season. Mostly, because he ran into Josh Donaldson’s home run stick. The Indians are in the bottom 5 of runs scored this season. Moore only struck out 6 in his last outing but was having some control issues. We are betting that he brings it together at home.

Catchers
Chris Iannetta ($3,200) vs Texas Rangers

**Potential for Change*** Iannetta has some pretty good stats against Rangers’ starter Derek Holland. Seven hits, 4 RBIs, and a .365 lifetime batting average. More of a value play than anything else. I could adjust this pick if I don’t like his lineup position.

1st Base
Edwin Encarnacion ($4,500) vs New York Yankees

Encarnacion has hits in 6/7 games this season. He also has a lifetime .500 batting average against Masahiro Tanaka.

2nd Base
Robinson Cano ($4,200) vs Texas Rangers

Cano has 9 RBIs and a batting average over .400 against Holland. Robbie goes BOOM, tonight.

3rd Base
Manny Machado ($4,500) @ Boston Red Sox

Machado already has 3 HRs this season and has gotten a hit in every game. Clay Buchholz throws batting practice.

Shortstop
JJ Hardy ($2,800) @ Boston Red Sox

You know how I know Clay Buchholz isn’t good. Because JJ Hardy crushes him. Hardy has 2 HRs and a .318 batting average against the Red Sox pitcher. Hardy is deep in the lineup, which I don’t like, but if you want to win $150K sometimes you have to roll the dice.

Outfield
Jon Jay ($2,900) @ Philadelphia Phillies

Jay is batting .409 against Phillies’ Charlie Morton, who should’ve stuck with the steak business. Zing!

Gerardo Parra ($3,900) vs San Francisco Giants

**Sketch Warning** Parra hasn’t done much this season but he has hit Jeff Samardzija well.

Josh Reddick ($3,700) vs Los Angeles Angels

Reddick has scored double-digit fantasy points in 3/4 last games. He has hit Angels’ Hector Santiago decently over his career.
DraftKings MLB 2016 Season Winnings: $46
