One-Legged Soccer Player Scores Amazing Bicycle Kick Goal

This is one of the most amazing soccer goals I’ve ever seen. High School Senior Nico Calabria scores on a corner with an amazing bicycle kick performed on his crutches for Concord-Carlisle Regional High School in Concord, MA. Nico was born with one leg and is currently a member of the US Amputee National Team.

I’ve watched this video a couple of times because Calabria pivots on his crutches so quickly is amazing. How many times do we see able-bodied soccer players miss this type of shot? A lot. He drilled it to the back of the net.

I love the celebration at the end of the video! Really inspiring stuff.

Calabria also wrestles for the school’s team and at the age of 13 he climbed to the summit of Mt. Kilamanjaro.
